The Galley Waterfront Cafe and Seafood Restaurant

The Galley is located on the waterfront looking over Whitehills Marina. We offer a wide and varied choice of home cooked fayre, all of which are freshly prepared on the premises using only the finest of local produce. With the added bonus of having our own boat, all seafood supplied is from Scottish waters and is freshly landed in Scotland.

We have a large and varied menu available from 12 noon onwards and we also provide on top of our usual menu a ‘special’ menu choice each day. We publish our daily specials each day on Facebook. The Galley offers a wide selection of fine wines to accompany the many dishes offered, a variety of which can be purchased by the glass. We also stock a large selection of Scottish malt whisky, beers, alcoholic drinks and a wide selection of non alcoholic soft drinks. We welcome everyone from friends out for a social meal, couples looking for a romantic dinner, families out to celebrate a birthday or an anniversary, bus parties who look for a meal at the end of an enjoyable day, families who just want a quick snack, passers by who just want a cup of coffee to relax after a nice walk along the beach. Every Monday we cater for people who are 60 years and over by tempting them with a variety of smaller portioned dishes at a very competitive price. Whatever the occasion the staff at The Galley will deliver a memorable eating experience. We strongly advise all our customers to book to avoid disappointment.
