Construction on the pathway from Whitehills Memorial to the crossroads B9139, along the East side of the B9121 road is almost complete. The surface seems a little soft but will compress and harden in time. A mesh fence has been erected between the path and the park to keep dogs out of the park. No signage or advertisements are allowed on the pathway. A schedule for volunteer walkers to check the pathway regularly has been drawn up and written records are kept.
This pathway enables the school children to have a safe pathway to Annie’s Woods for their outdoor learning program.
